PolyFoam X40 incorporates a special low-E copper antiglare and has a reinforcing net for extra strength.
It combines a unique layered inner core of fire retardant XPE foam with a second low-E reflective aluminium foil layer.

PX40 is safe and easy to handle, no protective clothing, gloves or mask is neither needed nor required for the installation or handling of the product. It is the installer duty and responsibility to observe and fulfill with the relevant Occupation Health and Safety requirements for the handling and installation process. PX40 adds to a Total R-Value (system R value). The effective R value in a system depends on the installation and environmental conditions. The R-Value may be affected or reduced due to dust on upward facing surfaces or as a result of ventilation.

PX40 complies with AS/NZS 4859.1:2002/Amdt.1. Thermal resistance measurement (Material R for group 5 product): 0.120 m2 K/W. Reflective performances of PX40 (tested to ASTM E 408): Aluminum silver side = 97%, Copper antiglare side = 95% reflection of radiant heat.
